Agenda

U.S., EU, and China’s Governments are increasingly extending their regulation and enforcement globally not only over their own companies, but also those from other countries. Some companies have had deals blocked or paid multi-million and even billion dollar fines. This reach covers many key fields including securities and antitrust.

This Distinguished Panel will begin with an overview of these two fields including the impact on deals, business, and financial strategies; laws and enforcement practices; the possible cutting off of foreign business activities in a country; other penalties; and the power to impose liability on Directors and C-Suites. They will then analyze defense against this reach including litigation and negotiating strategies; asserting local laws to block this action; and insuring against this risk.

Parallel events will be held in U.S. and other cities worldwide.
