The Directors Roundtable Invites You to Attend a Program For Boards of Directors and Their AdvisorsDERIVATIVES: THE VIEW FROM THE MARKETPLACE Wednesday, July 21, 2010 8:30 – 10:15 A.M. (8:00 A.M. Registration)
Offices of Dewey & LeBoeuf, 1301 Avenue of the Americas, New York
There is no fee to attend and continental breakfast will be served. 1.5 hours of New York CLE credits are pending. The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (the “Dodd-Frank Act”) is soon to become the law of the land, and will accomplish a sweeping reform of the previously largely unregulated derivatives market. The Dodd-Frank Act will have a profound effect on virtually all aspects of the OTC derivatives marketplace. Certain impacts are now clear, but others will be more fully understood only upon implementing rulemaking.
The Roundtable will explore the impact of the derivatives reform by means of a panel of expert representatives from the end-user, financial institution and derivatives clearing house sectors of the marketplace.
Special appreciation is given to Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP for their cooperation in this program.
CLE Credit:*
CLE credit in the amount of 1.5 hours for California (General credit) and New York (Professional Practice - transitional and non-transitional) will be available for this program.
* CLE Credit offered by Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP. Credit amount/type is approximate and subject to change. CLE credit for other jurisidictions will be applied for as requested.
