Today, General Counsel are more important than ever.  Boards of Directors look increasingly to them to enhance financial and business strategy, compliance, and integrity of corporate operations. In recognition of our distinguished Guest of Honor’s personal accomplishments in her career and her leadership in the profession, we are honoring Norie Campbell, Group Head and General Counsel of TD Bank Group with the leading global honor for General Counsel.  TD Bank is the second largest bank in Canada (by assets) and one of the 10 largest banks in North America.  Norie’s address will focus on key issues facing the General Counsel of an international bank and offer her perspective on the unique strengths that women bring to law as a profession, as well as in a General Counsel position.  The panelists’ additional topics include mergers and acquisitions; governance; cross border transactions; and diversity in the law. The transcript of this event will be made available worldwide in electronic copy.
