There is no fee to attend and a cocktail reception will follow the event. 1.5 hours of California MCLE credit will be provided. International trade and investment is key to corporations in a broad range of industries including technology, finance, and many others. The program will begin with an overview of important developments. It will then focus on an increasingly key issue: The U.S. and foreign governments are implementing more rigorous regulatory and enforcement policies against bribery of government officials. In a recent enforcement action the United States government imposed fines and penalties totalling $800 million for violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Last year, the Department of Justice signaled that it will vigorously prosecute individuals for FCPA violations. These Distinguished Speakers will share their expertise regarding these key issues and strategies for dealing with them.
